YJ Movie Studio

First we would like to demonstrate how versatile this component is , play with style switcher and change colors.

YJ Movie Studio component is easy to setup and manage. Here are few easy steps that will help you setup your own playlist in just few clicks. Installation instruction consist out of 3 parts.

• Step 1 Installing and configuring YJ Movie Studio Component
• Step 2 Installing and configuring YJ Movie Studio Module
• Step 3 Changing Player Logo

Please note that animated part of instructions is for Joomla 1.5.x

Instructions for Joomla1.0.x are described in text.

After the download please unzip the YJ_Movie_Studio_Pack.zip .

Open your favorite browser and type :

www.yoursitename.com/administrator

You will be presented with following screen:

Please type in your username and password that you picked on Joomla Installation and login.

Please go to Extensions - Install/Uninstall

If you are using Joomla 1.0.x go to Installers - Components

Click on browse button and navigate to YJ_Movie_Studio_1.5.zip

If you are using Joomla 1.0.x navigate to YJ_Movie_Studio_1.0.zip

Click on " Upload File & Install" button .

You will see following screen :

If you would like to display local files in your playlist , you need to transfer the movie files to

yourjoomla_installation/media/yjstudio_video folder

Now please go to:

Components - *YJ Movie Studio - Add Video

Click on :

"New"

Click on browse button choose your movie thumbnail

Select video from dropdown menu if you would like to play local movie files. Please make sure the files are uploaded to media/yjstudio_video.

If you would like to play remote files , just add direct link to your movie.

Enter your movie title and brief description

Check Publish? box and hit save

Please go to Extensions - Install/Uninstall

If you are using Joomla 1.0.x go to Installers - Modules - Site Modules

Click on browse button and navigate to yj_movie_studio_module_1.5.zip

If you are using Joomla 1.0.x navigate to yj_movie_studio_module_1.0.zip

Click on " Upload File & Install" button .

You will see following screen :

Go to Extensions - Module Manager

If you are using Joomla 1.0.x go to Modules - Site Modules

Scroll down and find Youjoomla Movie Studio module. Click on it.

Once in Module Settings , you can choose from following module Parameters .

After setting up your player to suite your website, Choose module Position, Change module Title if you decided to use it check Enabled radio button and hit Save.

To change player logo , go to your site root and find following PNG image :

modules/mod_yj_studio/images/playVideo.png

override this image with your own logo.
